Water, sanitation & hygiene

Safe water, close to where people live.

A borehole changes the shape of a day. Women and children spend less time walking for water and more time on everything else.

How we help

RCO drills boreholes for communities in Bor South County, Jonglei State, and supports water, sanitation and hygiene services at the Bentiu Protection of Civilians site, where families who fled violence collect water every day.

Clean water supports everything else we do, from nutrition and health to school attendance and dignity for women and girls.
